Grain in the Time of Chaos: registration for the international conference Grain Ukraine 2024 is open

Rodion Rybchinskiy Director of Union of Millers, PhD in Grain Processing Technology joined IAOM (International Association of Operative Millers) Eurasia session as Executive Committee Member, representing the Union of Millers of Ukraine.

Members of the public association "Millers of Ukraine”, Novoukrainka Grain Products Plant and Skvyrsky Bakery Products Combine, took the first positions in 11 categories at the tasting contest within the framework of the international exhibition WorldFood Ukraine 2015, which took place in Kiev on October 27-29.
On August 13, the large-scale popular summer exhibition of food products in Asia - HKTDC Food Exhibition - opened in Hong Kong. The event runs until August 17.
According to the FAO analysts, Ukraine continues steadily increasing the export volumes of wheat flour.
For the first time during all years of Ukrainian independence, domestic flour will be officially presented on the Asian market.
In January-June period of 2015, Ukrainian flour milling enterprises produced 951 thsd tonnes of flour, a decrease of 15.3% compared with the same period in 2014, declared the State Statistics Service of Ukraine on June 18.
During 11 months (July-May) of 2014/15 MY, Ukraine exported 232.2 thsd tonnes of wheat flour, which became the absolute record for the reporting period, an increase of 2% compared with the export volumes for the whole 2013/14 MY (228.2 thsd tonnes).
Since the beginning of 2014/15 MY, and as of June 12, Ukraine exported 33.119 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
The Government should get interested in promoting of the exports of Ukrainian flour, declared Rodion Rybchinskiy, Director of the public organization "Flour millers of Ukraine".
Since the beginning of 2014/15 MY, and as of April 17, Ukraine exported 27.704 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
