Grain in the Time of Chaos: registration for the international conference Grain Ukraine 2024 is open

Grain in the Time of Chaos: registration for the international conference Grain Ukraine 2024 is open

On May 30-31, top players from the grain market, logistics business, food market, and financial sector will meet in Kyiv for the VIII international conference Grain Ukraine 2024.

In 2024, the key topic of the event is Grain in the Time of Chaos — the search for new (political, economic, and logistical) ways to promote Ukrainian grain worldwide.

We live in a time of global chaos, and the future of the Ukrainian agricultural sector is increasingly uncertain due to the challenges of war. How will this affect the prices and availability of grain and food on the global market? What strategies will help to make the situation more regulated and reduce risks?

Among other important topics of the event:

  • The pressure of increasing global production and carryover balances: will demand to catch up?
  • Global challenges of logistics routes and volatility of transportation costs.
  • Changing export geography of key global and Ukrainian market players.
  • Prospects for European integration of the Ukrainian agricultural sector and challenges in building relations with neighboring EU countries.
  • The global climate agenda: a unifying goal or a bone of contention for the EU and the world.
  • Ukraine's land assets and liabilities: what are the prospects for restoring agricultural lands?
  • Transformation in action: how the Ukrainian agricultural sector meets wartime challenges.
  • What are the immediate prospects for investment in the Ukrainian agricultural sector during the war?
  • Development of agro-processing industries: expectations, reality, and financing.

"Even a chaotic world that is completely confused in its political preferences and levels of puzzlement needs to eat something every day. This is our job, and we do it under explosions, without ports and with the Polish border blocked. So let's celebrate this result at Grain Ukraine in Kyiv and discuss what to expect next," wrote Andriy Stavnitser, founder of Grain Ukraine, co-owner and CEO of TIS port, founder of Superhumans, in his address to the participants of this year's event.

Grain Ukraine 2024 will feature more than 50 speakers who are experts in trade, logistics and finance in the agricultural market. This year's event will be participated in by international experts and analysts. The organizers expect more than 500 industry participants.

The conference will feature an exhibition area with logistics companies, suppliers of equipment for agricultural producers and agro-processors, banks, law firms and insurance companies. Participants will also have access to a special evening networking program to help strengthen business ties.

"When Churchill was asked "What are we fighting for?", he replied, "When we stop fighting, you will understand". We already know the answer: we are fighting for our lands, for our families, for the future of our country. We are fighting for bread on the table in every corner of the world. Join Grain Ukraine to become stronger together, to get through difficult times together. Our unity is the key to success!" — said Kateryna Konashchuk and Olena Neroba, partners of Trend & Hedge Club, a content partner of the conference.
