Odesa National University of Technology

Odesa National University of Technology is a renowned Ukrainian educational institution recognized both in Ukraine and abroad for training highly qualified specialists for the milling, baking, and confectionery industries, as well as for other sectors of the food industry.

The university traces its history back to 1902, when the Odesa Milling School was founded. Since then, the institution has developed over more than 120 years, preserving strong academic traditions while continuously integrating modern technologies into the educational process.

Over the years, the Department of Grain Products, Bread, and Confectionery Technologies has trained more than 10,000 graduates, many of whom work in different countries around the world. In addition to providing higher education, the department’s faculty are actively engaged in consulting, delivering training programs, and conducting workshops to enhance the skills of food industry professionals.

Based on modern educational and research laboratories — including those for Grain and Flour Baking Quality Assessment, Dough Rheology and Quality Control of Bakery Products, and Cereal Processing and Grain Dehulling Technologies — the university has established the Consulting Laboratory of Ukrainian Millers (C.L.U.B.). This laboratory conducts research projects commissioned by enterprises and industry associations, contributing to the development of production processes by combining traditional and innovative laboratory equipment with the application of cutting-edge scientific solutions.
