Ukraine exported 41.7 thousand tonnes of wheat flour during July–February of the 2025/26 marketing year

During July–February of the 2025/26 marketing year (MY), Ukraine exported 41.7 thousand tonnes of wheat flour, which is almost 7% lower than during the same period of the previous season, when 45.0 thousand tonnes were shipped to foreign markets. The top five importers of Ukrainian flour during the first eight months of the 2025/26 season were Moldova (12.9 thousand tonnes), Palestine (7.7 thousand tonnes), Israel (3.8 thousand tonnes), and Spain (3.4 thousand tonnes).

Exports of other types of flour during July–February of the current season totaled 1.2 thousand tonnes, compared to 3.8 thousand tonnes during the same period of the 2024/25 MY. The main importers of these products were Israel (471 tonnes), Moldova (373 tonnes), and the Czech Republic (107 tonnes).

Exports of groats and granules during the first eight months of the 2025/26 MY reached 16.6 thousand tonnes, compared to 23.5 thousand tonnes during the same period of the previous season. The key buyers of these products were Moldova (5.0 thousand tonnes), Israel (3.9 thousand tonnes), Romania (1.8 thousand tonnes), and Costa Rica (1.6 thousand tonnes).

Exports of grain processed by other methods during July–February of the 2025/26 MY amounted to 40.7 thousand tonnes, compared to 43.0 thousand tonnes during the same period of the previous season. The top five importers of these products were Romania (8.2 thousand tonnes), Türkiye (5.3 thousand tonnes), Germany (4.6 thousand tonnes), Poland (2.7 thousand tonnes), and the United Kingdom (2.2 thousand tonnes).

During the first eight months of the current season, Ukraine exported 233.1 thousand tonnes of bran, which is 3% lower than during the same period of the 2024/25 MY, when 239.7 thousand tonnes were supplied to international markets. The key importers were Türkiye (157.9 thousand tonnes), Syria (16.4 thousand tonnes), Romania (13.1 thousand tonnes), and Poland (10.2 thousand tonnes).

At the same time, Ukraine increased exports of pasta and couscous during the first eight months of the current season compared to the same period of the previous marketing year — 19.7 thousand tonnes versus 17.5 thousand tonnes. The top five importing countries were Germany (4.7 thousand tonnes), Moldova (2.1 thousand tonnes), the United Kingdom (1.7 thousand tonnes), Latvia and Romania (1.5 thousand tonnes each).
