The Union “Millers of Ukraine” and Uman National University Sign a Memorandum of Cooperation

As part of the Bakery Industry Forum, which this year is hosted by Uman National University, the Union “Millers of Ukraine” and the university signed a memorandum of cooperation. This document establishes a strategic partnership between the grain processing sector and higher education aimed at strengthening human capital and developing relevant industry competencies.

The memorandum was signed by Rodion Rybchynskyi, Director of the Union “Millers of Ukraine”, and the Acting Rector of Uman National University. The parties agreed to collaborate on modernizing educational programs, creating learning materials aligned with current technological advancements in the production of flour, groats, bread, pasta, and confectionery, and to facilitate internships and employment opportunities for students at member enterprises of the Union.

This initiative marks an important step toward the sustainable development of Ukraine’s grain processing industry. By building a systematic partnership between academia and business, the sector gains a new generation of professionals with practical skills, knowledge of cutting-edge equipment, and the capacity to strengthen the industry’s position both domestically and globally.
