Participants of the “Grain & Processing 2025” Forum Visited Production Facilities of Enzym and Kormotech

On November 21, participants of the forum “Grain & Processing 2025: Flour, Grocery, Animal Feed” visited the production sites of two companies that set the technological benchmark for Ukraine’s processing industry — Enzym and Kormotech.

At Enzym, delegates were shown the full production cycle of one of the most resilient biotechnology businesses in Eastern Europe. The group observed the manufacturing of yeast-based ingredients, advanced laboratory complexes, and the operational technologies of the company’s state-of-the-art facility. Enzym operates with a high level of automation, adheres to international quality and environmental responsibility standards, and relies on research from its in-house R&D center to develop new products.

During the visit to Kormotech, participants learned about the complete production cycle of dry and wet pet food for cats and dogs (brands such as Optimeal, Club 4 Paws, Hav!, Miau!, and others) — from formulation and raw-material control to packaging of the finished products. The plant is equipped with world-class technology, certified under FSSC 22000, BRC, and IFS Food, exports to more than 44 countries, and operates at standards typically associated with leading European brands.

Both companies demonstrated production environments built on the principles of maximum safety, traceability, precision, and automation — exactly the qualities shaping the face of modern Ukrainian processing.

This study tour became an important part of the forum’s program: participants had the opportunity to see next-generation technologies in practice, meet production teams, and exchange experience with those who are creating Ukrainian products with truly global potential.
