Union "Millers Ukraine" will present flour and cereals produced in Ukraine on the 22nd exhibition "Gulfood 2017" in Dubai (UAE), told in the press release the association.
On September 24, within frames the conference "Flour & Groats: raw materials, market, technologies", organized by APK-Inform Agency, there will be held the exhibition, where the leading producers of flour and groats in Ukraine will present their commodities.
In 2014/15 MY Ukraine exported 257.5 thsd tonnes of wheat flour, which became the absolute record, and exceeded the previous season index by 13% (228.2 thsd tonnes).
According to the State Statistics Service, in July-April of 2014/15 MY large-scale enterprises of Ukraine produced 1.9 mln tonnes of wheat flour, a decrease of 13.2% compared with the same period of 2013/14 MY (2.2 mln tonnes).
To date, the export volumes of flour from Kazakhstan total 1.8 mln tonnes per year, but in the nearest future the index will reduce to the level of 1.2-1.5 mln tonnes, announced Eugene Gan, Chairman of the Union of Grain Processors and Bakers of Kazakhstan, on April 24.
In January-March period of 2015, Ukrainian flour milling enterprises produced 486 thsd tonnes of flour, a decrease of 14.8% compared with the same period in 2014, declared the State Statistics Service of Ukraine on April 18.
